The Robert Malcolm Memorial Pipe Band is named after Robert Barbulak and Malcolm Bokenfohr, two dedicated members of the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band, who were killed in an automobile accident not of their cause in November 1993. The RMM band was formed in January 1994 to continue the development of talented and dedicated players, as Rob and Malcolm were.

- DRUMS FOR SALE !
The SFU Pipe Band has an excellent set of Pearl Drums for sale. These drums were used by the SFU Pipe Band when they won the World Championship in 2001. Since then, they have been played by The Robert Malcolm Memorial Pipe Band. The set consists of 4 Sides, 3 Tenors and 1 Bass. Colour is Sheer Blue. All drums have Maple shells. All drums (except for 1 tenor) come with a hard black case. The set is in Good Condition. Price for the set is $2,000, which is a superb deal. Interested parties please contact SFU.

Our Mini Beginner Lesson programs for pipe chanter and side drumming will start in early April and those with children ages 7-13 are invited to join.
